The Disability Tennis Festival was such a vibrant day, full of physical fun. All of your coaches, catering staff, members, and not least Alex (Mr Fantastic), were amazing.

Tennis is easily adapted according to a player's ability and is a great way to engage people with learning disabilities in a fun environment - playing mini tennis with low compression balls and smaller courts builds confidence as well as providing physical exercise.
We run school and adult sessions throughout the year, across all age ranges within the County. They are currently arranged through local schools and adult support groups, and we encourage players to join the local community and our Club. Mencap, MacIntyre and Alfriston School are participating in the tennis sessions run by Halton.
In addition we run Unified Tennis Tournaments, where disabled and able bodied players team up to challenge players from local clubs – if your organisation is interested in getting involved, please get in touch with Steve James on 07703 335635.
