Our team of highly experienced Chartered Physiotherapists specialise in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. Injuries commonly occur during sports, training and the rigors of everyday life. This leads to pain, disability, poor performance and a reduced quality of life. You certainly do not need to be a sports fanatic to benefit from our services!
Our aims are to accurately assess the injury, identify predisposing causes and develop an effective treatment plan to return you to full pain-free function quickly.
Clients benefit from a variety of treatments, including:
- Joint manipulation & mobilisation
- Soft tissue massage
- Exercise therapy
- Core stability training
- Biomechanical evaluation
- Orthotic prescription
- Education & advice
- Injury prevention screening
Initial sessions usually require a very 'hands-on' approach to assist joints, nerves and muscles to move freely. As a compliment to manual therapy, clients are encouraged to take a central role in their rehabilitation, through postural re-education, and personalised exercise programmes. This ensures the chances of symptoms returning are minimised.
