I can feel so many muscles work, ones that I never knew I had. I also had a back problem, which I can now say is much better. It makes me feel refreshed and charged for the week.

Choose the class that's right for you:

Gentle / Beginners - If you like a gentle class or are very new to yoga, this is your ideal place to start. We explore foundation poses and variations to suit our individual needs.

Strength & Flow - This class definitely takes us up a level in terms of challenge! We combine strength work with a faster paced flow which will certainly wake you up on a Monday morning!

Stretch & Strengthen - In these classes we move through a sequence of movements designed to improve both strength and flexibility. Suitable for all levels, there are always options to make the class suit you, whether to make it less or more challenging.

Yoga for Sport - Similar in style to the Stretch & Strengthen classes but with a little more focus on functional movement designed to complement sports. These sessions aim to improve strength and range of motion and to help prevent injury.

This well established popular exercise method developed by Joseph Pilates connects the body and mind using a regime of exercises and breathing. Pilates corrects posture, restores vitality, promotes wellbeing thereby re-balancing the body. It has been strongly advocated by professionals in both the medical and sporting arenas for its benefits and for many clients has become an integral part of their lives. At the studio classes are small ensuring a high level of supervision tailored to individual’s needs and a variety of small equipment such as weights, rollers and bands can be used. Everyone can benefit from Pilates.

“In 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, in 20 sessions you'll see a difference, and in 30 sessions you'll have a whole new body” - J. Pilates

Strength and Balance Class

All the exercises within the class can be done seated or standing (there are no floor exercises) and are therefore suitable for everyone including people with reduced mobility. The aerobic section (with music) warms our body, loosen up our joints and increase our heart rate. The exercises can be done standing or seated and options are given for lower or higher intensity. After 20 minutes of movement with different music, we sit down and get ready for the strength part of the class using resistance bands and small weights. Once finished we add pelvic floor and balance work which are followed by memory or coordination games. After the fun, we end the class with seated stretches and a cool down. These Strength and Balance classes are a great place to keep fit and mobile, have fun and meet new people. Come and try it, your first session is FREE.

Client comments

"Annabel sets a great pace for beginners and more experienced yoga enthusiasts. She is an inspiring teacher who makes everything easy to follow."
Tricia Peace

"I took up Pilates 6 months ago and now wonder why I left it so late! It's something that I recommend no matter what your walk of life. For me it's brought me a new lease of life on the tennis court. I had quite a serious recurring back problem and Pilates has all but eliminated it! I feel fitter, stronger and more supple and now have withdrawal symptoms when I don't get my weekly fix! I have my own ball, roller and even a pair of Pilates socks!! I'm particularly keen to see all our athletes at Everyball here at Halton get engaged with Pilates. Tom has been a superb coach and I heartily recommend him or a member of the Pilates team to you."
Mike James – Halton Tennis Centre Director of Tennis

"I've had one-to-one Pilates as I was recovering from major hip surgery and the day I stopped needing physio was a revelation and the team that were helping me were impressed with the difference doing Pilates made. I now attend classes as does my wife, it keeps us young and we get to socialise with some local friends too."
Mr Thomas

"Elaine provided me with first class physiotherapy care and continued pilates instruction following a recent sports injury. Without her expert help and guidance I'm sure my recovery would have been much slower and more painful. I'd seriously recommend her friendly, holistic approach and expertise to anyone wishing to recover from injury faster and with confidence. Her fun and friendly Pilates classes have also helped tremendously in helping to build and maintain fitness. Thank you so much Elaine".
